Vista PEAK Preparatory recently opened its doors to the 2015-16 freshman class. The former Vista PEAK Exploratory eighth grade students participated in a ceremonial walk across the street to their new stomping grounds. Loads of students and staff lined the pathway to cheer the group on and bid them farewell.
After a symbolic release of balloons that painted the sky blue and silver, tiny cheerleaders and a highly-energetic crowd greeted the new freshmen as they entered the high school’s gym. Mascot Tyson the Bison joined the festivities and the choir and band performed crowd-pleasing pieces.
Best wishes to the Vista PEAK Preparatory Class of 2019 as they embark on a new journey.
