When it comes to helping students shape successful futures as businessmen and women, Vista PEAK Preparatory offers one of the top programs in the nation. The school’s career technical education (CTE) business pathway, which aids future business leaders in attaining competitive skills and credentials, recently earned Advance CTE’s prestigious 2016 Excellence in Action Award!
Vista PEAK Preparatory Business Pathway Teacher Michael Dougherty recently had the pleasure of accepting the award on behalf of the school at an award ceremony in Washington, D.C.
Advance CTE is a national association of career technical education state directors. The group recognized Vista PEAK for their innovative and effective approach to CTE (highlighted here). Vista PEAK partners with higher education institutions to ensure students have meaningful learning opportunities that prepare them for postsecondary education and the global job market.
