By earning her Collaboration Summit Badge, Vista PEAK Prepartory sophomore Trinell Samuel earned a trip to visit the Opera Colorado. This experience included viewing a live rehearsal, practicing stage combat, hearing about the creative process of costume design, and discussing the importance hair and makeup. The most significant aspect of this experience for Samuel was being able to learn about the critical role of technical theater as she heard from assistant stage managers and took part in an exclusive backstage tour.
Through the APS Digital Badging program, Trinell was able to learn about a variety of industry partners who value the 21st Century Skills that she has demonstrated in class and then select an experience that matched her interests!
