Graduation is around the corner, but seniors at Gateway High School and Vista PEAK Preparatory already slipped into their caps and gowns to shine as role models for young, aspiring students. The seniors kicked off a wonderful tradition of walking elementary and middle school hallways to serve as living examples of hard work, perseverance and dedication to education.
Gateway seniors visited Wheeling Elementary School while Vista PEAK seniors strolled over to Vista PEAK Exploratory. Young students lined the halls, bursting with excitement to welcome the seniors with hand-made signs and contagious smiles. As the seniors passed by, loud cheers echoed through the schools and the soon-to-be graduates exchanged high fives and hugs with their admirers.
Bravo to the seniors for dedicating their time to a great cause and wrapping up their high school careers in an impactful way. It’s a day the young students won’t soon forget.
